AFC's DUNHAM TO ATTEND US YOUTH SOCCER ODP NATIONAL CAMP

DARIEN DUNHAM '14
TO PARTICIPATE IN US YOUTH SOCCER ODP NATIONAL CAMP


 


Darien Dunham '14, goalkeeper for AFC's U15 & U16 teams, will be attending the US Youth Soccer ODP National Camp, which takes place in Las Vegas in February. Darien is one of only 64 players from her age group selected to attend from all 50 states, and one of only two players from Connecticut.  On a related note, Darien will be attending a US Soccer Regional Training Center on January 29 at Gillette Stadium. Both events are used for development and identifaction for the US Youth National Teams. Congratulations to Darien, and best of luck to her!   This winter AFC is proud to bring you a series of winter clinics to suit all youth player needs.  The assortment of clinics offered are based on an age specific curriculum to enhance each participants soccer skill. 
 
  Involvement in the AFC run winter programs is a source of pride and accomplishment for its players. Expectations for participating in the programs are that you have fun and show a desire to learn.  Both AFC and the TPC training facility are firmly dedicated to providing a soccer environment that will allow every player to learn and grow to the best of her/his ability and for the top level of play to be achieved by those who seek it.
