Welcome to AFC's website!

AFC is entering its 6th full year of existence. The club was founded in the spring of 2003 with the idea to introduce youth players to a higher level of soccer. Since it's brief existence, AFC has expanded the club with Youth Developmental Academies, Premier Developmental teams, Premier teams and an affiliation with the New England Mutiny that compete in the Women’s Premier Soccer League (WPSL).

Our youth programs are based in two districts of the state:

AFC Pride and/or Courage (South Central District of CT)
AFC Mutiny (North Central District of CT)

Our ultimate goal is to be an Elite Futebol Club; become one of, if not, the best soccer club in Connecticut. Through our club’s commitment to individual player development within the confines of well-organized team play, AFC feels it’s an achievable goal.

AFC is owned and managed by the Collegiate Soccer System, LLC. Collegiate Soccer System was founded in 1993. The company at the time offered a variety of summer programs and now has grown into an all-year round soccer industry. Our organization consists of two business identities: Academica Futebol Club and AFC Soccer School.  For more information regarding either of the programs, please click on either program in the above navigation menu.

Enjoy the website, we hope you find it user friendly and please feel free to contact us with any questions you may have regarding any of our programs.
